The heart of the matter

Well! I went to get my prescriptions filled this morning because I realized I have less than a week left on all the free samples....and guess what? I was told that the zetia, which lowers the cholesterol, is $95.00 for 30 pills...that's a one-month supply. WHEW! Then he told me to brace myself because the Triglide is even MORE...$159.00 for a 30 day supply. That means that every month I need to come up with another $254.00 just for two prescriptions. Every month! No matter what! Since I don't have that kind of money, and don't make that kind of money, I will have to see about some kind of patient assistant program. Of course these take weeks and weeks to apply and get approved for. Guess I just get to hang on for dear life until all this gets figured out and settled.

In the meantime I bought my heart some roses. Here they are:

Sounds like you have to get creative until it all gets figured out....roses are a Good start. Beauty must be food for the soul, and surely the soul is the heart's next door neighbor.
