Ahh, Old Fashioned Cream Pie!
It's not a custard pie. It's just heavy cream, sugar, flour, a dash of vanilla and some nutmeg. No egg. It's delicious...and not anything you can buy in the stores or order at a restaurant.
I've been working on a few things, nothing worth photographing and blogging about, though. I did get a baby quilt finished, and if you only looked at the TOP you'd think it was a spanking job! However, the back looks like someone accordian pleated it before quilting. That someone being ME. Try as I might, I always get some kind of pucker in the back.
Its a very sunshiney pinky quilt for a baby girl, I thought.
Lastly: Pernell Roberts.
I had to watch a Ponderosa-load of old Bonanza Reruns this week. Adam was my first TV-Love, and he will be missed.

Karla the pie looked so good and sounded easy to make. I looked a recipe up on line and baked my William a pie. He loves it. I think I may have overbaked it a little but the filling was very creamy and just sweet enough. :) I've never been a pie baker/maker but have decided that I'm going to try. What do I have to lose?
